I purchased this booster seat when my daughter was three years old because I wanted to be a good parent and have my child safely in a carseat.
After fighting with this seat to install it tightly in the car, I drove through a carseat safety clinic and the staff said "this is the carseat we love to hate!". It took an adult man a full half hour to get the carseat in the car tight. It took slanting the entire seat at a 45 degree angle, jamming the seatbelt in super tight, and a whole bunch of other fancy tricks.
The disadvantages of this carseat are numerous. For example, once you get it in your car tight, I for sure didn't want to take it out of the car. This carseat provides no flexibility if you want to leave a carseat with a friend, daycare, or grandparents. Part of the problem with this seat is that it has a rounded plastic smooth bottom and so it slid back and forth easily across the fabric of the back seat. I even had a somewhat of a dip in the back seat and the dip did nothing to stabilize this carseat. I recommend that no one buy this carseat.
Also the fabric on the top of the headrest always falls off. There are two plastic clips but the do not hold the cover on to the carseat itself.
