| Bayzers's Full Review: Fisher-Price Safe Embrace |
We purchase the Fisher Price Safe Embrace car seat when our daughter was around six months old. She was still to small to be forward facing but to large for her car seat carrier.
We chose this car seat after much research on the different models out there and found this one to be the best.
It has a steel frame for added protection. It has a built in tether strap which mounts the carseat to your car. If you were in a crash and for some reason the seatbelt came undone this carseat is will not fly out of the car because it is attached to the car frame itself.
It has nice soft padding and large straps that do not twist like the other seats. They seem to be thicker and more sturdy. This car seat even has a color system for easier installation. If your baby is an infant then you use the blue holes and attachments and if your baby is a toddler in the forward facing position (not recommended until 1 year and 22 pounds) then you use the burgundy holes and attachments. The helps prevent common human error on installation.
We have had this car seat for over almost 2 years and have not had any problems. We have washed the straps and cover several times and they was great as well. We have looked at booster seats now that our daughter is getting older but we can't find one that compares to this seat.
I highly recommend this seat to everyone. Children's safety is most important and this seat seems to have it.
