This carseat is GREAT. I bought this car seat specifically for 3 major reasons (and a few, not so major ones, too.... like looks, and price, etc.)

The first one is that it's backward/forward reversible (2 car seats in one). I like the fact that this seat could go from birth, all the way up till booster seat time. The rear facing position is for one year of age or less, and 22lbs and under.

This is great, seeing as our son is a little beast in his own right! (He was born at 9lbs 2oz, and has not stopped outgrowing everything since! He reached 20 pounds way before his first birthday.) If we owned any of the other "popular" brands of car seats, that restrict rear facing to 20lbs and under, we would have had to either turn him around too early - or buy a new car seat.

The second (and biggest) reason is that it has "built in" clips for the shoulder strap of the CAR'S seatbelt. I was so worried about trying to find one of those extra clips that keep the shoulder strap in place, and then maybe losing it...or forgetting it if I moved the seat from car to car. (And the way my brain works, you know that I'd be racing around like a chicken with my head cut off..... "Clip, clip... Where did I put that dang clip????" )

This built in clip is wonderful. The shoulder strap of the car's seat belt slides securely into the car seat, and through the clip. No need to worry about the seat slipping. Also, the back bracings of this seat are metal bars (not flimsy plastic, like other leading seats). I liked that added safety.

The third reason I bought this seat is the built in tether strap. This strap anchors the seat down by fastening to a bolted down anchor in the back of your car. Most NEW cars come with this anchor, but if your car doesn't have one, the seat comes with instructions on where you can take your car to have one installed......and it's free if you bring the paperwork from the carseat.

This seat also features a five point harness. This seems to be the trend in car seats, these days. (And an excellent trend, I might add!) The security of a five point harness is unsurpassable.

The Cover of this seat is soft and velvety, and my son finds it very comfortable (I know this by the speed in which he falls asleep as soon as I put him in it). It's available in either blue or green (ours is green - which contrasts rather nicely with spilt juice and mushy cookies).

If you want a car seat that has major security and safety features, and can withstand the constant barrage of baby snacks, this is the choice for you!
