My son was born in December, when I started using the NoJo Baby Sling. The first few time using the sling I felt a little uncomfortable but now it's like second nature!
Shortly after his birth I purchased this sling and began trying to use it. Now, my son was 7lbs 12-1/2ozs and 21-1/2" long which I thought was a good sized kid, but when I first used the sling he seemed to just disappear inside of it. I put it away until he got a little bigger and then tried it again.
I loved using the sling for breast feeding. It gave my arms a break and also gave both of us privacy while we were out in public. All I did was throw a small lite weight blanket over the top of the sling and it held up the blanket away from his face. I really liked the feeling it brought and closeness we share even now when we use it.
My son loves to be put into the sling, as soon as gets into it next to me he cuddles close and becomes totally relaxed. I've heard that a mother's touch can ease their infants troubles, and I'm really finding that to be true.
The wide strap is very comfortable to wear and actually doesn't affect by back like I would have expected. This sling also makes shopping a lot easier... which is good in some ways!
