Pros: nice head rest, good support, adjustable from the front

The Bottom Line: If only the chest clip were more sturdy, this would be the perfect car seat.

| amos9799's Full Review: Graco Grand Cargo Infant Car Seat |
When I bought a booster car seat for my older son, I didn't know much about them, and just went for one that was safe and inexpensive.
But I discovered features that I should have looked for. WHen he fell asleep, his head would loll about uncomfortably because there was no side head rest. And in the winter when he had on a coat, it was a choice of either taking the car seat totally out of the car to adjust the straps, or let it be uncomfortably tight.
SO when my younger son was ready for a booster seat I know what to look for. Something safe, inexpensive, with a good head rest, and a front strap adjuster.
I was so happy to find the Cargo! It had every feature I wanted. No more lolling heads or overly tight straps!
The only problem I have is that the clip that holds the straps together at the chest level is of poor quality. It has to be pulled oddly to get the straps together, and I fear it won't last long. It just seems cheaply made.
Overall, if you can live with the chest clip, this is a great car seat!
