Cons:Steering, parental storage, infant without carseat, rough ride

The Bottom Line:

Would not recommend for ESPECIALLY for infants with no carseat

I have a 2 year old and an 8 month old.  I got the duo glider when I was pregnant with #2 but have only just started using it.  I have a jogging stroller that I normally use, but it doesn't accommodate an infant seat so I'm using the duoglider.

What I don't like:
This is not my favorite stroller.  It is very difficult to get though a doorway since it is so long.  I've not been able to figure out how to hold a door open and get it through without the door closing on the stroller.  It is very slow to steer-maybe like driving a boat.  You have to decide far in advance if you are going to turn.  I feel like my toddler is really far away when he sits in the front seat and I am helpless if he starts shenanigans like pulling clothes off a rack.  (duh, mom, don't park next to the clothes rack next time).  I don't have anywhere to put my stuff-no key tray or cup holders, and the under basket is good sized but my extra large diaper bag is tough to maneuver into the basket.  I have grown spoiled by the rubber wheeled, smoooooth ride of the jogging stroller, and the hard plastic wheels of the duoglider make me long for inner tubes.  I had the baby in the back seat without his carseat and I felt like he was going to tip out.  I didn't give him a lot of time in there, so maybe he would have settled in after he got used to it.

What I like:
It takes up the same amount of room as my Graco single stroller in my car trunk (I know it sounds crazy, but it's true).  It folds and unfolds reliably, if not necessarily easily.  (2 hands required to fold or unfold.) The toddler thinks it is super cool to be the first to arrive wherever we go, and he can't escape, no matter how hard he tries.  The baby (in his carseat) fits like a glove and there is an extra canopy that works with the one on his carseat to give him maximum naptime privacy.  I don't know if Graco recommends it, but I can face the carseat both directions: towards me so baby can see mama or away from me so baby can look around.
