I chose to go to this camp when I was twelve years old. I am very into sports and I was looking for a camp with a very strong sports program. Well, Greylock definitely has a very very strong sports program. I attended this camp for two years and highly improved my sports play.

I liked the fact that you are always busy, but I also disliked the fact that you are always busy. Sometimes I felt like I just did not have a long enough break. Other days though, I was very happy and content moving from sport to sport. The sports at Camp Greylock at very good; the counselors are very well trained and nice, however, the sports teams are very very competitive. This is good for some people, but I did not like that very much. If you were not very good at say basketball, then you had slim chances of making the team. I am a very good athlete, but I am not a superstar or whatever so I had trouble making teams. Although not everyone cares about making sports teams, I thought that it was important. Even if you do not make a team you still participate in your chosen activities everyday just like everyone else, but you do not get to go to tournaments and play other camps.

Camp Greylock handles traveling very well. When you arrive at your local airport, there will be a counselor waiting there for you who will then go with you on the plane and then you will be transported by van to the camp. The camp was very organized and handled various travel situations very well. Although the camp was 8 weeks long, I chose to only stay for 6 so that I would have time with my family. The camp handled this very well by having someone drive me to the airport and make sure that I had a safe departure.

I highly recommend Camp Greylock for a very competitive athlete who needs to have their high sports standards met.
