I have been asked to provide information on religious campers and special needs.
Ok, religion. Long Lake Camp is not affiliated with any specific religion. However, in the past when we have had campers who have needed to recognize their religion with scheduled prayer throughout the day, every effort has been made to facilitate that request. I have never seen campers attend religious services outside the camp.
Special needs: I am not sure what specific information the comment looking for. We have vegetarian and vegan kids, and campers with all sorts of allergies and special diets that are provided for through our camp chef Mike and his wife Jill (who makes fabulous pastries!) We have had campers with other special needs and deal with those situations on a specific basis. The camp is not staffed to deal with extreme mental or physical issues, but again, the owner and camp directors make every effort to arrange special situations for campers that need them. We have nurses on duty to distribute medications properly and unit leaders to help with physical accommodations when necessary.
I would encourage interested parents to visit the website and either email or call the office with questions about these issues. Geoff (camp director) or Zoe (head unit leader) would be more than happy to help figure that stuff out with them.

Welcome to Epinions! You've done a nice job on your first review! It is very close to being "Very Helpful." The only thing needed is some more details on the camp:
* Activities
* Religious services availability
* Special needs met (diet, physical, mental)
* What kind of camp is it? Such as weight loss, religious, etc.
* How long are sessions?
* Are there coed sessions?
Adding these in would make your review so helpful for potential campers and parents! Don't get me wrong, you have done a great job... I'd just love to see you update to include that camp info.
