| mountainmama27's Full Review: Sanborn Western Camps |
I spent a month at Sanborn every summer for eight years of my life, and I absolutely loved it! Sanborn has been one of the best experiences I have ever had, and I will never forget it. Over the years, it has helped me grow so much as a person. It helped me prove to myself that I can do anything I put my mind to. It has not only given me confidence in the things I do, but with the people I meet as well. Sanborn really helped shape me into who I am, and I am definitely a better person for going there. I have never been to a place other then Sanborn, that I feel completely comfortable in my own skin and am truly 100% happy. When I'm there, I'm free of all the stress the outside world forces upon me. And, I'm in this wonderful place with some of the greatest people I have ever met. The girls I've grown up with at Sanborn have become family to me. We are there for each other in camp, and out. I can call them at any time during the year if I need some advice, and of course we talk to each other just to catch up too. To finish this up, if you are looking to go to a good camp, Sanborn is the place to go. You will never forget the feeling of being on top of a mountain that you just climbed with some of the best friends you'll ever have, or singing songs with the whole camp as the sun sets over Pikes Peak. Every experience at Sanborn becomes a memory that lasts a lifetime.
