Pros: This show is about exploring and it teaches children this is okay.
Cons: This is annoying and it is loud.

Dora the Explorer this is about a girl and her monkey that explores stuff. This is kind of a good show in ways but annoys the parents bad. This little girls voice is so cute but the back pack song is terrible.
They explore different things like they actually go by a map. Dora's back pack holds everything that is put into it such as her map, lunch, and a few other things. Her monkey boots tags along with her in all her adventures. This show is on Nick Jr. and it is a half an hour long. It is hard for me to get into this show at all and everytime I put it on I have to change it.
The back pack carries so much supposedly and the girl speaks another language sometimes and you cannot tell what she is saying. I think they need to work on this cartoon better. The only good thing about it is it kind of represents history. SO next time you watch this keep in mind that Barney or even Blues clues is so much better for your child.
And if you can handle watching this show without screaming then you have a lot of nerves. My nine months old son will not watch this and I am glad because I can't handle it. But, my six year old sisters that are twins loves it. So, I think it all depends on the age group.
