Enchanting Encounters

Written: Jan 14 '00
Pros:morals, simple stories
Cons:witches turn some off

Witches are usually thought of as wicked or evil... Sabrina has changed that stereo type with the drop of her hat!
This show is based (loosely) on the comics "Archie" spin-off. Unlike many shows with witching characters, Sabrina actually focuses on getting through the daily quams of life... withOUT using her powers. It seems as though whenever she tries to make things "easier" or "better" with her powers and spells, things only get worse and go haywire.
Every episode has a simple story with a tactful moral... good teen/pre-teen television material in my mind. Sure, many people have problems with "witches" and television portraying them as so common, but I sincerely feel that this show does exceptionally well at not using all the "erie sorcery" stuff!
