It's a cute idea. Get a couple of talking chipmunks and recreate My Three Sons mixed with The Smurfs. For some reason, it never really struck my funnybone. Dave yells, "ALVIN!" a couple of times each episode, and I guess if you find that funny you're in heaven. I don't know.

It's a nice, clean, sanitized show that should hypnotize your youngster into bugging you for whatever is advertised inbetween yells of ALVIN. I'm sure it's good for the network. It's such a suburban thing.

If you like this show, you're probably into processed American cheese, hot dogs, and Pixie Stix. Give the I Love Lucy show a look, and try out the Smurfs.
