Remember the good old days? When entertainment was really about putting smiles on people's faces and actually entertaining them, rather than trying to make the highest ratings or sell the most at the box office.
I remember those days. I was just a child then, but I remember that I was a really happy kid. Shows like the Flintstones, the Gummibears, the Jetsons, and of course...Alvin and the Chipmunks made me smile and laugh.
Everyone knows Alvin and the Chipmunks, they were one of the first cartoon related fads in this country. Now we have Pokemon, but back then Alvin and the Chipmunks had their own cartoon, movies, albums, collectibles, and a christmas CD. Let me see Pokemon make a christmas CD. All you would hear is Pika Pika. That is a load of....well you know.
Alvin, Simon, Theadore, and Dave brought joy to the hearts of America when it originally aired on tv. Now reruns are shown on the cartoon network once in a while and the feeling of warmth and happiness in my heart comes rushing back to me.
Who can forget Alvin (gettin into all that trouble), Simon (he was so smart), and Theadore (who just loved to cook). This cartoon wasn't just a comedy it also has serious moments.
I remember the Chipmunks movie when the Chipmunks were reunited with theri mother and fans are let in on how Dave came to adopt Alvin, Simon, and Theadore. That was a beautiful thing.
I also love the Chipmunks female counterparts, the Chipettes. They were so cute and also sang.
Alvin and the Chipmunks is just a great show. Watch it whenever you can...You'll find yourself singing along in no time. doot doot dootdoot dootdoot.
