Pros:great show for the family, brings back many memories, very funny
Cons:story is always logical or follows logical order, may be over the heads of children who are too young to understand the story line.

I am a 22 year old college student, and I still watch Scooby-Doo faithfully. Even my 23 year old boyfriend loves Scooby-Doo. Scooby is a classic. Also, my aunt and my mom grew up watching Scooby-Doo. They passed down their love of the talking dog, whose afraid of ghosts down to me. Furthermore, my three year old cousin loves Scooby-Doo. Scooby touches the hearts of the young and old.
Sometime ago, cartoon network did a Scooby-Doo marathon. Many of us in my family got to see episodes we hadn't seen in years. Also, we finally got learn the Shaggy's real name, Fred's hobbies, and Daphne's hidden intelligence. It was very worthwhile. In the past few years Scooby has made a major comeback. It seems as if all have welcomed him. Furthermore, when children watch the Scooby-Doo gang solve mysteries, it gives them confidence to do what they want. Also, Scooby-Doo is a history lesson for young children. Through Scooby-Doo, children learn the trends, political tensions, and attitudes of the 1960s.
I also know that for a lot of college students watching Scooby-Doo brings back a lot of childhood memories. Many of them grew up with Scooby and welcome his comeback. Scooby-Doo gives families of young and old alike to sit down and watch a cartoon they all know and love.
