Rated a Very Helpful Review by the Epinions community
Pros:Good characters, plot, and very entertaining
Cons:That there was only two seasons ;_;

If anyone has been to my webpage, you can see I love cartoons. Darkwing Duck was the first cartoon I actually kept track of when it was on and had to watch. I feel so old when I was that was ten years ago.~_~ The online fandom for Darkwing Duck is still always growing though. I also believe it was the last action cartoon >TV series< that Disney made that everyone could enjoy. (Gargoyles and Mighty Ducks were also good, but I admit not everyone would relate to it)

Everything about this show was perfect. The plots, jokes, and character design always worked out right. There was at least one character everyone could relate to or adore. From Gosalyn, the spirited redheaded tomboy, to Steelbeak, the mob like figure who always >tried< to keep his cool even though the purple caped duck was in his way. My parents used to watch this with me when I was young. My Dad still remembers it to this day. We always related ourselves to be like Darkwing and his adopted Daughter Gosalyn and my mother was Morgana, Darkwing's witch girlfriend. It was cute, and probably the only time my parents were into a show as much as I was. My dad even bought me a Nintendo back then just so I could play the Darkwing Duck Nintendo game. (Which he also bought me) Both my parents at the time were very against video games because they though it would rot my brains, but the fact there was a Darkwing Duck game out made it better. ^_^ If anyone has Nintendo still I suggest you go to your local used game dealer (like Funcoland) and get it. The game is as entertaining as the show.

Darkwing Duck was actually a spin off of Duck Tales. Launchpad from Duck Tales was Darkwing Duck's Sidekick and Gizmoduck made an appearance once and awhile. I started out as a Duck Tales fan long ago but now I can say I like Darkwing Duck better.

I have all four tapes that was sold of Darkwing Duck Eps, and when I have children I'll have them watch it when they're nine like I did.
It was a happy day when 'Toon Disney decided to show Darkwing Duck. It is a show I am sure Walt Disney would be proud of.

P.S. I have heard rumors that there is a Darkwing Duck movie that would go straight to video in the making. I would like anyone who knows if this is true or not to E-mail me and inform me. Thank You.
