This show is a complete mockery of what the world would really call "Television". This show is dumb and should go into the toilet with Ace Ventura two. My first glimpse of this sad and upsetting attempt for Disney to yet again try and capture the attention of the teenage culture was on a trip to bush gardens. It was eleven o'clock and not a creature was stirring except for this incredibly dumb show. A spin off on the MTV show The Real World, Bug Juice video tapes two groups of kids at summer camp, one group of girls and one group of boys. Bug Juice was meant to break the surface and really film kids doing what they do best...be kids. And they did. But, who really cares about what a bunch of dorky middle school have to say about life. They know nothing about life. The problems they have consist of who I am going to take to the dance, and whether or not they missed there favorite episode of Boy Meets World.
My second meeting with this boring show was much longer. My little sister was watching it and out of the kindness of my heart I accepted here offer to watch the show with her. On the episode the camp members went on a hiking trip down a large mountain. The counselors hide out of site and followed along but let the campers hike on their own. All was fine till some of them got scared and lost and the fat girl, I call her the fat girl but I believe her name was Caitlin, started cry and refused to walk any farther because she was mad at the leader. But the sad truth is she probably sat down because she was a fat girl and was tired. Now how many teenagers are going to want to sit down and watch these fat, snobby, rich kids bicker about hiking down a mountain! Personally I would slap her in the back of the head, kind of like the how the show makes you feel after watching it, and tell her to keep moving.
There you have it Bug Juice and good as a swift slap to the back of your head.
