Little Bill was created by Bill Cosby and, is a wonderful show for children. I have a 2 1/2 year old and, she loves watching little Bill everyday. The show starts with little Bill walking past his brother & sister and, they greet him with, little Bill! and, then as he walks past his parents & great grandmother, they greet him with little Bill! as well.Then Bill Cosby gives him a red hat with a B on it. Little Bill puts the hat on and, says Hello Friends!
Little Bill is 5 years old and, he's in kindergarten and, he likes baseball. Little Bill loves elephants and, enjoys making elephant sounds and, he also has a pet hamster named elephant. Little Bill loves to talk to the hamster. Elephant enjoys rolling around the floor in his hamster ball. Little Bill is curious about everything around him.
Little Bill lives with mom, dad and, also has an older sister & brother, little Bills great grandmother lives with the family as well & is also called big Alice. They are a close knit family and, they show love & caring to each other. The background is colorful, crisp and, detailed. The show has two episodes within the half hour. Little Bill is on Nick jr. every weekday at noon.
Little Bills mama enjoys photography and, is helping him to take great pictures too! She tends to be very understanding with the children and, have a lot of patience. Her name is Brenda. Little Bills daddy is Big Bill. We don't get to see dad all that much. He always seems to be busy and, says jazz is his "thing". April is little Bills big sister. April enjoys playing basketball and, helping little Bill when she can. That's what big sisters are for. Little Bills older brothers name is Bobby and, he kinda comes off as being older than his years & seems a little bossy. Alice the great is little Bills great grandmother. Alice is a wise old gal and, is always there for him. Alice always helps little Bill with his problems.
Little Bill has lots of friends in his neighborhood and, loves meeting & making new friends. Little Bill and, his friends use plenty of imagination when they play games. Little Bill also loves to make up cute songs to sing and, has the cutest high pitched giggle which children love. Little Bill is a happy friendly little guy & full of energy, everyone loves him.
The show has everyday events, such as Birthdays, a Wedding, an arrival of a new baby, mothers day, even a trip to the zoo. The show teaches children to be kind to people and, to share with everone, to have patience when learning & dealing with new situations and, to care about everyone around you. little Bill also learns other things, like right from wrong or being angry or sad, is ok, as long as it does'nt hurt the people around you. Little Bill learns about disappointments & that sometimes bad things can happen. He also learns about lifes values. Little Bill makes mistakes, but learns valuable lessons from those mistakes.
I think this is a great show for children and, the fact they can really understand & identify with little Bill. I know my 2 1/2 year old really enjoys watching it everyday. Shelly does'nt get up till the show is over with.
