| jiastar's Full Review: Little Bill |
Little Bill is the youngest child in your average family. He shares his home with Mom, Dad, a brother, a sister, his Great-grandmother, also known as "Alice the great" and a hamster named Elephant.
He shares his life with his friends from preschool, his extended family and his neighborhood.
The shows show everyday occurrences in the family - everything from attending a wedding or birthday party to dealing with chicken pox or a broken arm.
We suffer boredom with Little Bill when he has to go to the beauty parlor with his mom. We share his fear when his beloved Elephant goes missing. We are just as crushed as he is when it starts to rain on the way to the amusement park.
The colors are rich and vibrant. The backdrops in the animation seem to have sprung from a kid's coloring book. the characters are more detailed, the faces showing not only emotional expression but also facial differences.
This cartoon will catch your child's attention with its bright animation and hold their interest with its humor and the way it speaks to the delights and disappointments of a preschooler's everyday life.

There is also a lot to learn about life and the world through Little Bill's experience.
We learn how accidents happen, that even when we don't mean to that we can break something that is special to someone else.
We learn that its ok to have feelings .. to be sad, to be angry .. but it's not okay to take it out not he people we love.
We learn that when we do something wrong, that we need to not only take responsibility but to help make it right again.
We learn that our friends can come in innumerable shades of color, and can come from various backgrounds and cultures, but at the end of the day we all are the same.
We learn that it is love that makes a family, and that families come in all different shapes and sizes.
We learn that sometimes bad things happen, that sometimes life has disappointments, but when we have people who love us it doesn't hurt as much.
I'm glad my kids are learning these lessons. I'm glad this show is part of their life.
