Spongebob is a delight for adults and children alike. In the true style of Ren and Stimpy, Spongebob comes forth with almost no redeeming social or educational qualities whatsoever. But then again, does everything for kids have spout forth socially redeeming messages?
Kids like to be entertained, and Spongebob is just the sea creature to do it. Along with his pals Gary the Star Fish, Sandy Cheeks the squirrel, or his grumpy neighbor Squidward, Spongebob's life is filled with adventure and intrigue. Follow his daily ramblings, from getting his boating license, to his first day on the job at Krusty Krab, and you are sure to leave with a smile on your face.
The animation is top notch, none of that cheapo artwork here. The style is silly, almost over the top, but like I said, it is meant to entertain, and entertain it does!
Spongebob Squarepants is a terrific show to watch with your kids. I Promise you will never laugh at any other kids show this hard, there is no chance Barney was ever this entertaining. As soon as they make Spongebob T-Shirts, I will be the first person in line to get one!
The show currently runs on Nickelodeon Saturdays and Sundays at 10 A.M.
