Oh boy oh boy, where do I start? I find in my career at epinions.com, I tend to write more positive reviews than negative. Probably because I like to write about things I enjoy. And I only write negative reviews when something REALLY bothers me. Something like this Nickelodeon show The Amanda Show. I promised myself I wouldn't be too harsh, but I can't help it.

One thing I want you to know before I start my review. I am not knocking Nickeloden in any way, just questioning their judgement. I relied on Nick as a kid for my cartooning needs. And there are many educational shows on the channel, Amanda Show is NOT one of them, that's all.

Ahhh..Amanda Bynes, the STAR of her own show! Wow, she has her own show, you think that she would have to be pretty entertaining to get her very own show. But NO! She isn't not at all, not to little kids, and most def not to teens. And I know for sure adults won't enjoy the show either. The show teaches children to be snotty and disrespectful. Each segment has either Amanda rambling on in her high pitched screams, either toward and adult or a youngster. What happend to values? Teach the kids shareing and caring, not disrespect. I must go on the record as saying, this is the worst show Nick could dream of producing. Amanda Bynes from an acting stand point is HORRIBLE. She can not act PERIOD. Why she is in this business is beyond me? Maybe she has like an uncle that works at Nick or something. Her melodious voice is so iratating. I honestly can't stand listening to her or looking at her. Her high pitched shreiks through out the show are VERY annoying. Esspecially the segment "Dear Amanda" where she says Thhhhhhhhat's Me over 100 times in one minute. And personally, I think the girl is anerexic. She is 14 or 15 and she probably weighs like 80 pounds. If you ever notice when she wears certain outfits, shes a pile of bones.


To put it nicely, this show sucks. Nick made some poor judgment here. And parents make sure to keep your tikes away from this one or they may turn into that damn Amanda!
Nickelodeon should drop their "comedy" shows and stick with what they do best, educating youngsters with the proper morals.
