Cons:They are cheap for a reason...
The Bottom Line: This is cheap, below average quality. They fall apart easy, and the sound is not great.
In our household, we have so many noisy electronics going at one time that headphones of any kind are a much needed tool. Between the four of us, and the amount of usage and travel we have, headphones get lost. All. The. Time. That is one benefit to the Koss UR-10 Headphones. Just about the only benefit, they are large enough not to get lost. Beyond that, they belong to the stone age of cassette tapes and LPs.

While they are lightweight at 0.44 lbs, they are extremely flimsy. They fit over your head, like a headband, and do fit comfortably. The band is adjustable, but unlucky me, I have found one too many times my hair getting caught in it, and it pulling and entangling it. Compared to other headphones, this is not the easiest to use or the most enjoyable. if you do purchase these, they do fit into every computer, game system, cd player at least!
The earcups are small and do fit just around the ear, as to not overpower your frame. However, it does not really cusp around your ear well enough to silence outside noise. They are not heavy, which I do like because you don't have that "boxed in" feel, but as a result, you are not listening to your favorite Youtube's or playlists in complete isolation. I can always hear the tv or the phone ringing, and is one reason why I am glad I no longer use these once they broke!
I can't even remember when or where or why I bought them. I have only used these when I could not locate other ear devices. It has a short cord that always tangles up, the cord goes about four feet. I have also had trouble with the stereo output which is the standard 3.5 mm plug, because it has been loose, cutting out one or the other earphone, causing a major annoyance having to fiddle with it and not being able to use both hands on the computer (i.e., writing and listening to music at the same time). With a frequency of 60Hz to 20kHz, it is pretty average and works fine if you aren't picky about having that "surround sound".
Let's see...I have had this model for a few years, I suppose. But even as the least used device, it should have lasted longer than it has. The stitching on the ear piece came loose and the adjustable part of the headband just slipped out of it's socket. I am not sure if it is just wear and tear, especially after the move, or if it is just a waste of money. I use all kinds of Koss products, so this is an isolated incident of manufacturing on their part. I have learned to prefer larger, more quiet prrof models or more trendier earplugs, so perhaps I am just picky?
Out of all the models and choices out there, I just can't raise my hand to this one. I could never say without a shadow of a doubt that this model gives you the bang for the buck. If it is on sale, and you aren't going to use it very often, give it a shot. Otherwise, invest in something more practical and enjoyable!!
