The Bottom Line: I give it an A. I'm really pleased with my purchase and love trying new recipes.
About a year ago I traded in a faulty Christmas present for the Krups Belgan Waffle Iron. I had always secretly wanted a waffle iron, but, until then had never had one. I brought it home and immediately set it up. The Iron came with a nice little how to book as well as some recipes to get me started. I have to say, once you make your own waffles you won't want to go back to frozen.
-easy to use
-compact & easy to store away
-makes great fluffy waffles (you can make extra and freeze them for later meals)
-heats up quick
-cooks most batters within 4 minutes
-non-stick has worked great for me with a quick spritz of cooking spray
Not so Pluses:
-if you happen to over-fill the iron and it oozes out, clean up can be messy (I recommend letting the batter dry, then you can just pick it off in one piece and wash with soap and water after)
-clean up in general is tricky and I recommend using a slightly soapy sponge about an hour after use to clean up the cooking spray
Each time you do a new recipe I recommend you check on it as it cooks to be sure you don't over cook it by accident. :)
