Lalaloopsy Swirly Figure Eight Doll - DIABMNT181

My 7 year old daughter likes Lalaloopsy dolls. Though she is more into the teeny weeny Lalaloopsy mini dolls, she has a few of them in their 'full size' including this Lalaloopsy Swirly Figure Eight doll.  She specifically asked for this one because the doll is an ice skater. My daughter loves to ice skate so I can see why she wanted this one. My daughter asked for this on a wishlist and received it as a gift but I know that is it typically priced around $25 for the full-sized doll.

If you are unfamily with Lalaloopsy dolls they are a line of dolls that claim to be 'made or sewn' from a particular totem of inspiration. They look like floppy ragdolls, but they are not soft. They have plastic bodies and large orb-like heads. They are jointed in such a way that they kind of move and act like floppy rag dolls do but without the plush.  Lalaloopsy dolls do have removable clothing so they can be dressed and undressed. Each doll comes with a plastic 'pet'.

Swirly Figure Eight being made from an ice skaters costume is dressed in a pinkish purpley dotted skater costume with white fur accents on it. She is wearing white and pink skates (that can also be removed).  The doll has a pale pink (plastic/curly) updo and she has a snowflake 'tattoo' on her cheek.  The doll itself does have a darker complexion and could pass for multiple ethnicities. She has black button eyes and rosy pink cheeks. 
Her penguin pet is mostly hot fuschia pink.

My daughter 'had to have' this particular Lalaloopsy because of her pink ice skates and the fact that she was a 'winter doll'. She also likes the pink hair and the hot pink penguin wearing a tux.  She doesn't play with the full size Lalas all that much - tending to prefer the mini lalaloopsy dolls but this one was a must have for theming reasons alone.  Most of the time it is collecting dust on her shelf though thanks to the fact that it is made entirely of plastic it is easy to clean.

If your little one is a fan of the Lalaloopsy dolls and likes ice skating this would be a cute gift for a young girl who enjoys dolls. Do not be fooled however by the ragdoll look of the Lalaloopsy dolls - they are entirely plastic (apart from their clothing) and are not sewn though their description may make them sound to be.
