great picture quality, good 3d that does not give you headach. the first problem i had is that my .mts video clips coming from my canon camcorder and panasonic dslr had to be renamed to .mkv to be viewed from my external usb hard drive. the second problem (and major one) was that it does not have audio codec to decode dts audio (a very widespread audio encoding on movies) i read that corean firmware had this basic dts audio capability but not the us or european models due to licensing costs. i would have paid a few dollars more to have this codec, they should at least provide it on their lg app store. the solution i use to solve this dts audio problem was to plug my hdd in an external multimedia player from western digital to play my videos on the TV through hdmi. about the 3d the effect is not as spectacular as active 3d systems such as samsung tv but i can see a 2h movie without a headach and passive 3d glasses are lighter than active 3d glasses.

questions to LG : why a 10$ wifi card is not included in standard ? and why no sd card slot to see our photos or videos out of the camera  (if it is a question of licensing fee, there is one on my $200 netbook but none on this $1300 tv)
