Purchased this LFX31925SM a couple of weeks before HH Greg's official opening in Sept. 2011. My son has a side by side Lg and never had a problem, can't fit much inside, but has never had a problem.

So, we were going to spend $1200 to $1800 for a fridge. HHGreggs deal at the time was 24 months free financing AND an additional $100 off if you took that financing. HHGreggs MSRP on this product was $3000. Nice interior, close to the top of the line, lets spend a few dollars more.
Nothing but sealent problems, theirs an air seal letting air in that creates moisture that freezes that then builds up and hits the plastic fan each time the unit turns on. Noise, Noise....called the service folks out from LG. He said they knew of this problem but were not telling folks or recalling and taking complaints only as people called. He jiggled some things and said give it a couple of weeks. Again frost built up and the fan began banging. Again, another person out same thing, it wasn't until the 3rd trip that they replaced the front panel (for crushed ice etc oh year, those buttons won't work either) He replaced that and a complete new fan system that supposedly had more insulation. 2 weeks later same problem.
Next tech finally put in work order to replace unit, said to wait 3-4 days then if they don't call, call. He was here Feb 2, today the 7th. Now I'm told I have to fax all the service orders to them to review, I said no, they should have them, it was LG truck and LG people out here repairing it. They said to fax original bill. That I will do.
Keep in mind, the warranty does nor start over AND they can send a rebuilt unit out not new...so says the manual. You be the judge.
