Better service at Motel 6

Pros:Nice rooms, minimal air traffic noise, housekeeping, bell hops, valet
Cons:Attitude at front desk, food!
The Bottom Line: If attitude and incompetancies don't bother you or if you are willing to turn a blind eye, go for it!
I was extremely disappointed with Westin at LAX. I had heard great things about Westin. Upon arrival at 10:00 p.m., I was notified that my room would not be ready for an additional 45 minutes! The front desk offered me a $25 voucher at the bar in order to appease me. While waiting, I called another guest only to get housekeeping, twice. The operator began arguing with me that he had not transferred me to housekeeping. How I kept getting housekeeping, nobody knows. I never was able to contact the guest. I finally got settled in my room at 11:30 p.m. On the last evening I asked the front desk for their "mission statement". The clerk could not find it. I was not posted anywhere. I gave her my room number and she insisted she would slide it under my door. It never arrived. Needless to say this is the last time I will do business with Westin.
