Great Hotel...

Pros: everything from food, atmosphere, and service
Cons: the turn-in for the valet was hard to see and somewhat narrow
The Bottom Line: The excellent service and atmosphere are the two biggest reasons to stay at this hotel.

As a member of the united states army i am used to crappy living conditions but the w was such a breath of fresh air in every way shape and form. first i was traveling with someone who was in a wheelchair and the in san fran that is no easy task but unlike most other hotels in the area that we either ate at, stayed at or visited friends at, the w actually lifted a finger and accomodated us instead of looking confused. the staff was incredible, from valet, to desk, to bell hop, to the 24hr staff. i ordered breakfast at 3 am and shazam! eggs bacon and hash browns in 10 minutes with a cheese burger and fries for my wife. the location was fantastic, with the sfmoma next door. the atmosphere was modern, club lit, fun, and most importantly was very helpful in accomodating my wife in her wheelchair to the point it seemed they bent over backwards save for the fact i was treated just as well. expensive, yeah... ITS A NICE HOTEL! you get what you pay for and if i could afford it being in the military, most people should be able to enjoy all that this hotel has to offer.
