| Pba4evr's Full Review: Ritz Carlton R-C Naples |
This is one of the coolest hotels I have ever been to. The beach is absolutely excellent and this hotel is oriented nicely to the ocean. The Ritz-Carlton in Naples gives you the luxurious option of swimming in either the ocean or in the pool nicely situated near the beach. One can also enjoy a meal or just a few chicken nuggets and a marguerite at any of the cabana-like restaurants located on the beach. While at the beach one can also rent a jet-ski at $55 for a half-hour and cruise around in the ocean (one of the most fun experiences ever). After a fun-filled day one can sit back and watch the sun set over the ocean, one of the truly unique experiences that can be found at Naples due to the fact that the Ritz-Carlton at Naples is located on the gulf of Mexico, on the west coast of Florida.
The restaurants are very nice, if you choose to eat at the prestigious yacht-club-type restaurant where you can buy a $60 steak where the brag endlessly about the numerous layers of glaze, you can have a very nice dinner (sport jacket required). You can also choose to dine at the poolside restaurant, a little more casual and very adaptable to delicious breakfasts.
If you are one of those who does not like to sit on the beach and get cancer, you can go to the Greg-Norman-designed Tiburon golf course about a five-minute drive from your hotel. This is a very nice course with a nice touch---no rough, greatly appreciated by second-class golfers like myself.
Whether you choose to swim and tan, golf, or simply sit on your balcony and take in the Gulf of Mexico, the Ritz-Carlton Naples is for you.
