Pros: Clean, interesting, friendly staff, decent price

Cons: The hotel is about a five minute drive from Clearwater's beaches.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in April 2006. We absolutely loved it. We spend hours exploring the grounds and all the unique nooks that exist within the hotel. We even paid to take a tour of this wonderful location.

I will say that the hotel is not completely up to date, but that only added to its charm. It was like taking a step back in time. We relaxed by the pool, which was very clean and inviting. The hotel does offer modern amenities such as air conditioning and cable TV.

We ate at the hotel one night. The food was delicious and relatively inexpensive. I would definately recommend for people to stay here and enjoy the hotel's charm.
