| hawndude's Full Review: HILTON HAWAIIAN VILLAGE |
The Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki is a beautiful resort. The new Kalia Tower is nice and new; the rooms are furnished well with accents making you feel very comfortable and know that you are in Hawaii.
I really enjoyed the new rooms but the oceanview room I had is less desired than the Tapa, Rainbow or Alii Towers. The benefits of being in the Kalia tower is the ease of Valet parking; I have found that it is a lot quicker to retrieve your car at this Valet outlet than at the main entrance. Another benefit is that the Holistic Spa is within a few steps of your room in the same tower. The feeling I did get from staying in the Kalia Tower was one where you felt pampered by everyone; from the Guest Assistant when you arrive, to the housekeeping staff making your room feel like your at home to the Valet who always greeted me with a smile.
There are 4 pools throughout the resort with many dinning options as well, from fast food to fine dinning. I will always make my plans to stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village for my future trips to Honolulu.
