Pros: Great staff and customer service and location.
Cons: Extremely hectic in lobby area.
The Bottom Line: Location is perfect for those who love hanging in Waikiki. Customer service and satisfaction is their priority and hotel parking is cheap.

My husband and I stayed three nights at the Sheraton Waikiki in Sept. 2004. Getting to the hotel from the airport was a shock to us especially after a week and a half of stress-free driving on the Big Island and Maui. Read your map before embarking to the hotel!!
Unfortunately, we did not utilize all the hotel services offered. Based on previous reviews, the Sheraton had services for all needs. Here are the highlights to our stay:
Positives...
- Staff was top notch. At check-in the clerk stated that our satisfaction was important and not to hesitate to contact them if there were any problems. We did have a problem with the tv internet and it was rectified within ten minutes after calling the hotel operator. Then we were surprised when they left a message apologizing for the inconvenience and offered a free movie for our trouble.
- A previous reviewer complained about paying $10 for parking per day? Uh...damn that was cheap! I expected to pay over $20. Several years ago when we stayed at the Outrigger Maile, we paid $17/day. There was ample parking.
- Room, lanai and king bed was spacious for two people. Our room faced the city side and it was pleasantly quiet as well as clean. The room was stocked with the usual iron + board, hair dryer, tv, clock radio, and cups. Housekeeping did a great job replenishing the supplies.
- Location of hotel was awesome and perfect if you love hanging in Waikiki.
Cons...
- Extremely busy location. Good luck in getting a half empty elevator.
- Avoid purchasing the tv internet service. Very slow and no mouse, just keyboard. Instead go to the business center.
- We wished the refrigerator had some room to store our own drinks. It was packed with hotel items for purchase.
- You can get a little lost finding your room the first or second time. The hallway decor is monotonous and dizzying.
