My fiance and I stayed here August 04. It was our first trip to Chicago, and we went everywhere. The concierge at the Hyatt Regency was great with helping with directions and even called a restraunt without us asking to make sure there was seating before we headed there.
The room was clean, and the maid service was great. There is a great bar in the place, Big Bar. If you go for a larger sized beer it isn't such a bad deal.
Stay away from Connie's Pizza though, it is over priced even for a hotel, and it tasted like frozen pizza.
Lastly, you can't beat the location of this place, it is within walking distance of the Navy Pier, and Millenium Park, and it is a classy place. Also there is a small grocery store in the lower level, that is pretty cheap for snacks and beer ect.
