I had a pleasant experience at the Swissotel. The bathroom is really elegant with a separate tub and shower. We had an okay view (only okay since it looks like there may be some type of construction starting right next door). We moved things in the minibar (just being curious) and I got charged for four drinks. They have sensors in the fridge so don't move anything, although they were very kind about reversing the charges. We went to the underground shopping center on a Saturday at 3:30 and were surprised to find that all of the stores, including McDonald's, close at 3:00 on Saturday, but it wasn't a far walk to the shopping on Michigan Ave. I also didn't wait at all to get checked in and they slide a bill under your door early morning so you can have express check-out without dealing with a crowd at the front desk. Overall it was a very nice and classy hotel.
