A Perfect Hotel

Pros:Amazing hotel, indoor pool, reasonable rates, great service, spectacular views
Cons:None for the actual hotel, but the location wasn't the best
The Bottom Line: A perfect hotel with a not-so-perfect location.
This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever checked into. The staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating, the rooms were large, the pillows were plump and perfect, the beds were extremely comfortable, the marble bathrooms with walk-in glass-showers were fit for the pickiest of travelers [the bathroom was almost the size of my bedroom in my small NYC apartment], and most importantly [for me at least], the room and the hotel throughout were absolutely spotless. I stayed on the 12th floor facing the water and it quite honestly felt like I could have been in Miami with the Chicago River and Lake Michigan overlapping right outside my window turquoise and sparkling, only a few yards away from the prim golf course beneath my window. The only gripe I have is the location. The Swissotel is located in the financial district [otherwise known as The Loop], and at night it can be pretty empty and the nearest El station is a bit of a hike from the hotel.
