Pros: Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, great spa and all the good games
Cons: Restaurants on site only average in quality but premium in price.
The Bottom Line: Viva la France! Take your lover and pretend your in Paris. It's a great sneak away weekend while the kids are at the grandparents.

| dwest2314's Full Review: Colonnade Hotel Boston |
The Beau Rivage resort is truly a beautiful hotel that takes your breath away from the moment you enter its spacious lobby. Inside this hotel, my wife and I found a true respite from the stresses of our lives back in Atlanta, GA. First, our room was really nice, having plenty of room and a great view of the ocean. The rooms are all decorated very elegantly and have marble flooring in the huge bathroom, all the amenities you would expect in this price point and nice attention to detail. The casino in this hotel occupys a central "hub" on the main floor. The casino itself has hundreds of slot machines that ring constantly if you are anywhere on this level. Situated in between the slots is an area for blackjack tables, craps tables and roulette tables with bet limits and minimums for just about any players budget. In the back of the casino floor, a roped off area for high rollers ads to the exclusive feel of this casino. There are, of course, other card games but not being that familiar with them, I cannot recollect each of them. Suffice it to say, I think everyone found what they were looking for. I know I did, winning enough money at blackjack in a single night of my stay to pay for our entire trip. Woohoo! Anyway, if you stay at this hotel, my two pieces of advice would be - don't expect too much out of the on-site restaurants, they were good but not great; and, go to the spa. The spa, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the casino proper, was both well appointed and well staffed. Both my wife and I utilized the hydrotherapy tub, which I absolutely loved, and the massage. Each gender has their own areas of the spa with lockers, lounge, t.v., newspapers, and steamrooms, saunas and whirlpools. These are connected by the treatment rooms. We went there even though we forgot to bring swimsuits - this was not a problem as the spa was more than happy to provide robes and towels, as well as gym type pants which were necessary for entering or leaving the tub. All in all, a great facility, a great hotel, and a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend it.
