If your like me, you don't like reading about a person's whole itinerary. You just want the quick facts about what the person liked/disliked about the hotel.

Cons:
(1) No buffet. They pretend to have a breakfast buffet at the Grand Lux but it consists of little more than eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a few fruit items. I personally like buffets, so I recommend going next door to Treasure Island or Mirage.
(2) Service is lousy. I called downstairs because my sink was making a loud gurgling noise and I wanted to switch rooms. They promised that they would bring keys to my new room - but nobody showed up after an hour.
(3) Service is lousy (again). I called again to request they pick up the tray from my in-suite dining experience. The next morning when I woke up, it was still outside my door.
(4) Players Club is not very generous with their comps. I'd gambled about the same elsewhere and have received free rooms, meals, etc... The Venetian probably expects more because of it's ambiance, but I figure the comps should be equivalent - and they were not.
(5) What Suite? The rooms are actually quite small - probably the size of a mini suite.
(6) Annoying timeshare sales people at one of the entrances with an aggressive sales pitch - they ruin the experience.

Pros
(1) Didn't hear any noise from my neighbors
(2) Rooms were ready when promised
(3) Received a good rate of $149/nt on the weekend
(4) Nice decorations inside the hotel

In conclusion, I think you could do better elsewhere.
