The Venetian is by far the best resort on the strip! My first impression began outside with the grand entranceway and channels. Once you step inside the elaborate paintings, on the ceiling, make you feel as if you were in Italy. We were impressed with the people in costumes who frequented the walkways. They really were part of the whole picture, friendly, out going, easy to talk with.
The stores inside were upper crust but at the same time, you could find deals with items on sale to fit every budget. We had made reservations at the world famous Delmonico Steakhouse. Now they could use an interior decorator, it seemed there was no theme inside the restaurant.
We found the meat was worth every penny, the vegetables were lacking in taste and presentation. I was very disappointed and expected much more for the money, and name behind the restaurant. They could have at least taken the time to heat the bread, and offer more. The butter could have been whipped, I would have even at that point not minded small sealed ones (No presentation - where was Emerill when you need him!).
The overall atmosphere in the restaurant itself was very cold. Save your money eat at the buffet at Harrahs!
