It’s a Wow! Casino.
My husband and I set off for Vegas on a clear, almost spring day, March 11,2000.We were really looking forward to our holiday in Las Vegas. The beautiful day filled us with anticipation. We had reservations at the Venetian and I had been on the Internet for the last week looking it over. It was looking good and it was an all suite hotel to boot.
After 6 long hours we finally arrived at the Venetian, we got valet parking and the bellman helped us with our luggage. They both were super friendly, which was something we didn't expect from such a posh establishment.(I had been afraid that they would be a bunch of snobs!) "Hey, we just might like this place," I thought to myself.
My first Wow was when we entered the Venetian, beautiful, beautiful, I thought to myself. My husband was busy gawking at the ceiling and then at the floor."Wow, he kept saying to himself, what a beautiful ceiling", and then "Wow what a beautiful floor!"
After checking in we went to our room located on the 30th floor. We inserted our card key and walked into a dream world. Wow is the only word that comes to mind when I think of our reaction to our suite. I opened the two double doors located to the right of me, it was to the bathroom suite. Wow! (Yes I did say bathroom suite, it was big enough! It had both a shower and a huge tub in it) The toilet was in its own cubicle hidden behind a door. Wow, “Look a phone right by the toilet”! I said to my husband. He was checking out the honors bar located under the huge TV located in the sunken living room! We had a huge king-sized canopied bed in the bedroom with a huge TV!(Talk about comfort! That bed was top of the line!)
WOW! I like this place! We had a view of the city, a nice table and chairs located right in front of the window where we could have snacks or our dinner if we wished. (We did have room service twice while we were there) With a room like that you have to have room service at least once!! The food was brought up on a cart, friendly server, and great food! They set it up on the dinning table for us. (This is the way to live, I thought to myself! )
All right, I know that you are going to ask me about the gaming; well, I got good news for you, it was great! In fact the casino was the most generous one that we tried while in Vegas! They had all the new games that I love including Monopoly and Wheel of Fortune! The casino was not only beautiful but the people working there were all so friendly.
The waitresses were always going around making sure that we did not lack for anything while we were playing! Such great service!
One thing both my husband and I noticed was that all the people that were gambling at the machines were such a nice bunch. They were all friendly and talkative, we really enjoyed ourselves!
My husband and I will gladly recommend the Venetian as one of our "Top of the Top" Casinos. If you get a chance make sure that you stay and play, it’s a Wow Casino! We Loved everything about it..
