We just had to see the newest (and still under construction) resort in Las Vegas this past June while on our yearly gambling venture to "Sin City".

We weren't disappointed by the breath-taking beauty of it all! This place is pure class... The outside landscaping, with its canals and bridges, the fountains (which were very much appreciated in the 100+ degree sunny day), and the gold statues were all gorgeous.

Inside, we were no less impressed by the attention to detail. I must say that we did not stay there though, as we could not justify spending the total cost of our vacation on accommodations alone! The rooms are all suites and are very high-tech for business travelers; but not for us.

The slot areas are quite large, and we did have a bit of luck there. The drink waitresses were very accommodating, even though we were just playing the quarter slots.

If the rooms weren't so expensive, we would consider staying here on our year 2000 trip. Too bad! the Venetian could really make a go of it if they lowered their prices.
