Very good midtown hotel
Written: Feb 21 '02
Pros:Central location, decent room size
Cons:Busy location
The Bottom Line: A decent deal in the midtown, theater district.
Flew into EWR last weekend for a 2-night stay in NYC. The shuttle bus dropped us off at Port Authority, 1/2 block away.
The lobby is on the 20th floor and there were no waits on Saturday at 7:30am. A non-smoking room was ready so relaxed for a couple of hours before heading out.
The room was large by midtown standards, approximately 40 x 20 ft, I'm guessing (didn't have a tape measure). There was a closet and TV armoire with the minibar below the TV. But, there was a 4-drawer 'cabinet' for clothes that was smaller than the minibar.
Turndown service must be requested (not automatically done) and bathroom amenities were fine with Neutrogena products.
