My husband and I had a reservation for weeks at the Iroquois Hotel. We had a guaranteed Queen bed. We arrived and were told we had a double bed which meant we had a very small room. We showed the desk clerk our confirmation for the larger room with queen size bed, he said the hotel did not guarantee their bed size. We went to look at the room. With my husband, myself, and the bellman in the room there was no more floor space. We are not large people.
I waited in the lobby and my husband went out to find another hotel. While I waited several guests checked in and were given a larger room with queen beds. I asked why the hotel did not honor my confirmed reservation and was told they were with a group. STAY AWAY from this hotel. Fortunately we were able to find another hotel at a higher price.
