Pros: They did not steal my entire wallet, just the cash.
Cons: Extremely poor security.
The Bottom Line: I will not stay there again. I feel violated that my room was broken into and security could care less. Nice rooms, but not worth the risk.

| kathykik's Full Review: Millenium Hilton |
I stayed at the Hilton Millenium on business for 3 nights during the week of December 8, 2003. On one of the nights a few coworkers dropped their bags off in my room while we went out for drinks. We left our bags and I grabbed some cash and left my wallet behind.
When I returned a few hours later, my bathroom light was on and my closet door was opened. I didn't think much of it because my laptop and cell phone were still there. In the morning I discovered ALL my cash was missing from my wallet. I reported the incident to the security department. While security was taking the report, I checked the mini-bar. There were two bottles of alcohol missing. When I told the security officer about it, he said 'Oh well, just tell the front desk and they won't charge you.' I said, that's not the point. Someone WAS in my room. The officer showed me a printed computer report of room activity and it showed that I was the only one accessing the room. There must be a hard key to the room...
When I brought my coworkers their bags, one of them discovered his gameboy and 8 game cartridges missing from his bag. I called the Hilton security and told them about the gameboy and I also mentioned the missing alcohol. I was informed that the mini-bar has sensors, and as soon as you pick something up, you are charged for it, even if you put it right back. So I told the officer that meant they should have an exact time stamp of when someone was in my room. Someone was supposed to call me back. I'm still waiting.
In then end I think we'll have to kiss our stuff goodbye. I'm just frustrated that I can't get them to admit that someone was in my room. Personally I think it was an internal job.
If you stay at the Hilton Millenium, do not bring things you wish to keep. You can only fit so much stuff in the safe...
