| jenny8179's Full Review: The Waldorf=Astoria? |
I was living in Manhattan at the age of 21 with my brother, his wife, and their 3 children, it was my second year of living there and i hated to leave on my days off. I decided i wanted a hotel room to stay at where i would be treated like a princess. The day was dark and i was online. I decided to checkout a discount hotel website that would respond within the hour. I waited eagerly for my email and there it was. The Waldorf Astoria. I was in awe. I felt as though i had won the lottery. I hopped into the nearest taxi and could barely wait to hear the taxi driver ask "where to?" Waldorf Astoria i said and my face positively lit up. The hotel was everything i had dreamed, grand lobby, beautiful gift shops, even a jewelry store. I got to my room and was temporarily disappointed by it's size. I ordered room service immediately, slipped into my pjs and watched old movies all night.
