I cannot say enough great things about the Grove Park Inn. This review may be long but was necessary to get the full effect...
We went there for our honeymoon and just returned from there yesterday. First, the Hotel on the outside is just beautiful with all of its stone and its beautiful scenery among the mountains. Second, our room was spectacular. However, because it was our honeymoon, we did stay on the club floor, so I cannot speak about the other rooms. The club floor is worth every penny. The room is very large as is the bathroom with its wonderful jacuzzi tub. You get a complimentary continental breakfast each morning in the club floor lounge. The staff that takes care of the club floor guests are terrific...so very friendly and helpful. You also get complimentary cocktail hour with cocktails and great hors d'oeuvres each night. You also have use of fancy robes and slippers in the room.

Then there was the dining. The food was a little pricey but excellent food at the 3 main restaurants..and all with breathtaking views.

Finally, the best part of our stay was the Spa. This is why we chose Grove Park. We love spas and have been to a few but the spa at Grove Park is one of the most spectacular. Even the entrance to the spa is wonderful. You walk through a huge tunnel made of stones and waterfalls while peaceful music is playing. You enter the spa and are greeted and assisted by person after person. And every one of them is so friendly, happy and helpful. It has by far the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a spa. Inside the spa is even more amazing. The indoor waterfall pools are so relaxing and so beautiful. The outdoor jacuzzi tub is as large as a regular pool, has relaxing music and fireplace and overlooks the mountains...a spectacular site!! All of this greatness, and I haven't even spoken about the treatments. The treatments are superb! We had a Couples Retreat which was the BEST...well worth the money. We had treatments all week and each therapist did a great job and were all very nice to us. As you can tell, we found the spa to be absolutely magnificent. It, as well as the hotel ,was everything we could've hoped for.
