Pros: In the middle of downtown. Price is low.
Cons: the worst Ritz I have ever stayed in
The Bottom Line: Disappointing for a Ritz. Amenities, staff, location all a bit lacking. A good hotel but not a great Ritz.

I must differ from every other reviewer here by stating this is the worst Ritz I have ever stayed in. And I have been to about a dozen. Unless one stays at the Club level, there must be a better place in town. Tea was quite lackluster. Room service adequate. Concierge a bit flustered when asked about goings on around town. Bathroom only okay. Food good. Noisy smelly and cold room, albeit large enough. No real view to speak of. Service was simply lacking in experience.
Mind you I had just stayed at The Peninsula in NYC the previous few nights and that is about as close to heaven as you can get in a hotel.
About the best thing I can say is the price was reasonable.
Downtown Cleveland is nowhere to go unless you have to. Even the cops are jerks. Everywhere is a mall. Pass through to St Louis if you have a choice. Great Ritz there.
I have no reason to return but if I should I would check out the Marriot (?) across the street.
