I've stayed at this property several times and would recommend it for most travelers--especially business travelers.

The JW is very near to the other full service Marriott, which is much older and not nearly as nice.

The JW is a large hotel, the lobby area is very opulent. I've only stayed on the Concierge Level but I suspect "normal" rooms are very nice as well. I've had a one bedroom suite a couple of times and would really recommend this type of accommodation if you need extra room.

The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The location, while not near downtown--can actually be an hour from downtown with their horrendous traffic!, is in the upscale galleria area.
