Pros: modern decor, good location
Cons: Expensive and TINY rooms
The Bottom Line: Tiny tiny rooms. I would probably not stay there again, unless I get one of their suites. Also VERY expensive.

I stayed at One Aldwych last November, and it wasn't that pleasant an experience.
I had reserved one of the largest non-suite rooms for 350 pounds a night, after hearing that the normal rooms are tiny. After checking in, I went to my room which was on the 5th floor. To my horror, the room was about the size of my bathroom in Boston! It was TINY! There was basically a double bed, a desk, a chair and a TV. That took up the entire space of the room with about another square meter in the middle to walk about. The bathroom was a little better, with a bathtub and showerstall. The showerstall however, was tiny as well, and looked out of place in the marble bathroom. A good thing about the room was that the decor was very modern, unlike all the other London hotels. However, this still did not offset the fact how tiny the room was, and this was already the largest non-suite room! I can't imagine how small the cheapest rooms are!!
After staying there for 2 nights, I had enough of it and checked out early, although my reservation was for 5 nights. Everything seemed ok with the bill, except that they had charged me 30 pounds for 15 minutes of local phonecalls. I understand that hotels charge a fee for making calls, but this was just crazy. I argued with them for a while to no avail and just decided to leave the place ASAP.
Anyways, you must be asking if there's anythig good about this hotel. Well, there is. Firstly, the location is excellent. It's located in the theatre district and there are many theatres within walking distance. Lion King is just next door, and the hotel is usually filled with the pre and post theatre crowd. The bar on the ground floor and the hotel restaurants are good places to go and hang out if you're looking to meet some interesting people.
I think it would be nice to just go and hang out at the hotel bar or restaurant if you ever go and visit London, but please DON'T STAY THERE!
