| jlevandowski's Full Review: Gold Coast Hotel & Casino |
The Gold Coast Casino and Hotel is a "locals" casino in Las Vegas. This means that the Casino offers excellent gaming options and quality food at a reasonable price without the crowds of the Las Vegas Strip. To compensate for not being on the Las Vegas Strip, the Gold Coast offers a free shuttle to it's other property, the Barbary Coast that is located center strip.
Be sure to join the Gold Coast Players club because they will offer you free rooms for much less play than the strip casinos require and the games are excellent, meaning that some actually pay back more than 100% with perfect strategy.
The rooms are small, basic, and clean. Considering the low price of the rooms this is to be expected. How much time are you going to spend in the room anyhow.
Like other casinos off-strip, the gold coast has a bowling alley and a bingo parlor for those who don't feel like gambling.
Try the Gold Coast, you will not be disappointed.
