This is a great hotel! It has everything. I really don't think you can do this place justice by calling it a 'hotel'. It is so much more than just somewhere to sleep! The minute you arrive at the Rio you know that this is the place to be. The people at the door that greet you to the people at the tables taking your money, are so friendly. The colors of the casino and the costumes of the employees are gorgeous. Everything about the Rio speaks of Carnivale in Rio de Janiero.

The first time visitor to the Rio will be overwhelmed by everything! The rooms are not just rooms, but, mini-suites with a view. The food, especially at the 'CARNIVAL WORLD BUFFET' is to die for! I have eaten at many buffets, but, this ranks as my favorite of any place I have been. No matter what you desire for food, this buffet has it. If you are a gambler , very little playing time is required to get a ticket to the buffet for free. If you are not a gambler, it is still worth every penny to go to this wonderful place to eat. The parade in the sky is a show not to be missed. I have seen it many times and still something is a little different about each and every show. The atmosphere that the show creates has you really believing that you are at Carnivale, not inside a casino. If you only have a long weekend to be in Las Vegas, you will not need to go anywhere else, this place has everything! I highly recommend this 'hotel'!
