It is safe to say that there is no other place on earth like the Bellagio. Attention has been paid to every detail, from floor to ceiling, from gaming table to dining table. Bellagio has been crowded since it opened and for good reason. The restaurants are fantastic, the service is great (yes, a hotel that features service in Las Vegas) and it is arguable the most beautiful property in town.
Sam's American as the name implies is an American Bistro. The menu is eclectic as it is wonderful. The room which makes you feel like you're eating with the "Flintstones" can get a bit noisy, but no so much so, that it takes away from the dining experience. Go with at least a group of 4 so you can sample a wide variety of appetizers, many of which are quite unique.
Looking for a more budget conscious meal at the Bellagio? Try the Bellagio Café! It's may just be a coffee shop, but it's one of the best in town with both staple fare as well as some up-market dishes. Be forewarned, the wait for the café can be long so plan ahead!
Gaming at the Bellagio is pleasant, although you need to be a high roller to see any of the traditional comps. The tables are spread out into several large pits, and the general atmosphere is "posh". There seem to be plenty of medium ($10 & $25) table around, and lots of slots, many of which are quarter machines. On weekdays one might even find a $5 blackjack table.
Many who make the trek to Vegas may believe that Bellagio is priced out of their range, but many winter and mid-week specials exists so be sure to CALL and check availability.
